I guess now is a good time to say that if you requested something from the forge, it's all done now, you can come pick it up. We uh... we might not have time for me to take requests right now, but I do have some extra weapons and shields that I made if anyone needs one. Just let me know.

Date: 2011-11-26 05:43 am (UTC)[even though it'd be wrong to chastise Hiccup for being on the safe side, Red can't help but feel bad for him. not like he's ever celebrated Thanksgiving before, but it's kind of a downer to spend a holiday anxious over what might be laying in wait to kill you. he's quiet for a minute, then speaks again in a quieter, kind of hesitant tone:]
Have you ever flown before? I mean - other than the time with the robot. [whether Hiccup realizes it or not, flying on the back of one of the legendary birds isn't just a rarity; it might even be an honor.]

Date: 2011-11-26 05:58 am (UTC)We do something similar in Kanto. Some wild Pokemon can be troublesome to people, even dangerous. That's why Trainers exist - we teach them right from wrong and show them how to use their abilities to help humans, not hurt them.
Eventually, they can even become our friends. Was it like that with yours?
