021 - Phone and Action

worstvikingever[Phone] Okay so I've got a few things that people requested from the forge? I can bring them by houses or you can come pick them up whenever. Basically if you requested something, it's probably done. So... yeah.
This is usually the part where I'd be taking requests, and I can still do that, but I'm working on a project right now so there's gonna be kind of a delay before I can start working on stuff. But yeah! For all the new people I've been hearing around, I'm Hiccup, I have a forge, and I can make weapons, armor, and possibly random stuff. Just let me know and we can work something out. I just got a bunch of tools back from home so it'll make making some really good stuff a lot easier.
[Action, after school] [Hiccup is working at the forge, in the backyard of 339 Brady Lane. He's actually doing something he doesn't usually do given the requests he usually gets. He's working on some kind of mechanism to do... something. It's a little uncertain. But there's a couple of diagrams of car engines.]

Date: 2011-09-26 05:28 am (UTC)[He sighs and puts down the phone and... JUMP TO FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER AT THE FORGE, where Hiccup is sharpening one of the extra swords or something. They tend to get a little dull from waiting around most of the time.
The hammer is leaning against one of the weapon racks. Hiccup actually managed to find a good rock that he could (barely) lift and chisel down to the right size and shape. It won't even shatter when hit against things really hard! He made sure of that. Through. Blacksmithing.
He had only heard stories of the great hammer Mjolnir, so there was no way he could craft it to look like whatever the actual weapon looked like, but he did his best to make it extremely durable, serviceable, and ready to bash some vile evil heads in. Hwargh.
He really hopes it'll work out because he can barely lift it. Basically it was all he could do to make the thing, and then set it up over there.]

Date: 2011-09-30 05:59 pm (UTC)Thor crosses the forge in two steps and bends to lift the hammer. He hefts it on one hand, gives it an experimental swing - and a fierce, wild grin breaks across his face.
He swings it again, with both hands this time, making the air whistle with the force of it. This hammer's handle is long enough that the weapon can be wielded with two hands - the one thing Mjollnir itself cannot boast.]
HA! [He turns to Hiccup, points the hammer at him, and all but bellows--]
Well, Hiccup! It's a damn good hammer! I'd not thought you had it in you!
[Here, have a REALLY, REALLY MANLY SHOULDERCLAP. The MANLY SHOULDERCLAP of a man feeling manlier than he has in weeks.]

so yes he is on the ground but picking himself back up again
