004 - A strange request by phone

[When you pick up the phone, it's Hiccup on the other end. He clears his throat nervously.]

Uh... well. I have kind of a weird request for everyone. I was hoping that...

[He sighs and decides to just get it over with already.]

Okay I'm wondering if anybody has any extra appliances around the house that they don't need. I've... kind of gone through what we have in the house without anyone yelling at me yet and I'm trying to keep it that way, so. Yeah.

Keep in mind you probably won't be getting it back. I'm trying to figure out how all this stuff works. It's... well. I guess you could say it's for science.

Wait. I didn't do that right.

[He clears his throat, and then in his best impersonation (which is actually pretty spot-on) of Klaus in full spark mode, he says,]

It's FOR SCIENCE!

I can understand that. Did you do this kind of thing back home, too?

Uh... sort of? I mean, we didn't have any of this kind of stuff back home, but yeah I built stuff.

I'm sure I could probably scrounge something up for you. Hm.

... I've got a burnt out toaster lying around somewhere, if you don't mind something that's already busted.

That's fine! Figuring out why something isn't working is just as interesting as figuring out how it works in the first place.

Hey if you've got stuff then I can probably figure out a way to use it. And if I can't then Klaus definitely can.

Might as well. They let me take home things from the garage all the time.
