004 - A strange request by phone

[When you pick up the phone, it's Hiccup on the other end. He clears his throat nervously.]

Uh... well. I have kind of a weird request for everyone. I was hoping that...

[He sighs and decides to just get it over with already.]

Okay I'm wondering if anybody has any extra appliances around the house that they don't need. I've... kind of gone through what we have in the house without anyone yelling at me yet and I'm trying to keep it that way, so. Yeah.

Keep in mind you probably won't be getting it back. I'm trying to figure out how all this stuff works. It's... well. I guess you could say it's for science.

Wait. I didn't do that right.

[He clears his throat, and then in his best impersonation (which is actually pretty spot-on) of Klaus in full spark mode, he says,]

It's FOR SCIENCE!

Finally, some answers. So you were kidnapped as well? What else do you know about this place?

I don't really know tons. I mean, I've been here over a month, but it's all still pretty confusing. Apparently we're supposed to live like we like it here, like the people everyone calls "drones..." they're the ones that are really weirdly happy but kinda have empty eyes.

Also weird stuff happens apparently? I mean there was that whole fiasco around Valentine's Day, but for all I know that's how everyone acts around Valentine's anyway so who knows.

I dunno. People keep saying it's "1950s era America" but that means nothing to me.

Also apparently the people in charge of the town has something to do with it, along with the Smith family, but all I've gotten is "stay away from them" and nothing more specific.

OH YEAH and don't drink the milk. Apparently there's something iffy about it.
