003 - Tinkering - Action at 729 Anderson Lane

[It's a nice day, and Hiccup's in the garage with the door open. He's working on a pretty strange looking device, which turns out to be the tail replacement harness for Toothless. It's got two fins instead of just the one he had to make back home, so it's turning out to be a mite trickier than he's used to.

But he's doing pretty well. He might actually be finished with the thing soon. Or, you know. Finished enough for preliminary testing.

Any and all walk-ups are welcome. Hiccup will be so excited to tell everyone what he's doing.]

Not at all. They're shy creatures, but after getting to know them you discover they're very misunderstood.

...Although I suppose seeing a foul tempered dragon is follows similar rules.

Oh! Well no, actually, I built one back home, but I only had to replace one of Toothless' tail fins. This time he's missing both, so it's kind of trickier.

It sounds lovely. Are you excited to fly here? I've noticed a rather sorry lack of dragons in this town, so odds are there won't be too much congestion.

Yeah, I'm really excited. Flying anywhere is really amazing, but flying here will be... it'll be a nice reminder of home.

I, for one, try and make a habit of collecting every parsnip I see. I think, with all of them I get, my friends and Dad are that much closer, and this town won't ever really win whatever it's trying to win because of it.
