He's making a few adjustments to his leg, you see. You know. The prosthetic one that has replaced his amputated left foot. That one.

[Hiccup looks up and shrugs. The prosthetic is really just a basic replacement, nothing fancy.]

I guess. I'm probably going to make a better one down the line, but this one's fine, even if it is pretty basic.

Well, I got help on this one from Klaus 'cause I was still kind of out of it from losing the leg again.

Well I come from a viking village, so I don't know times like. A thousand or something. I've researched the planes that exist in this time period and the history of them, but anything beyond that is... well. A mystery or something.

I... don't even really get the whole other planets thing. We went over the solar system in school but it's just like... they're just shiny points of light in the sky, you know? It's all so far away.
