[It is a beautiful spring day and Hiccup is sitting out on the front lawn with a screwdriver.

No, not that kind of screwdriver, an actual screwdriver.

He's making a few adjustments to his leg, you see. You know. The prosthetic one that has replaced his amputated left foot. That one.

Go ahead, talk to him. It's not like he's gotten enough comments on his leg yet. No, really.]

[Hiccup looks up. Well there's an unfamiliar face.]

Uh... no, I'm all set. But thanks.

[ She tilts her head, and smiles a little. ]

Sorry, I'm Ilsa Higa, new in town. I'm still learning what is the baseline here.

[ She waves the map in her hand, ]

...and learning my way around.

[Hiccup nods and smiles. He'd wave, but his hands are full.]

...you got a map? Wow, that's lucky. I never got one of those. Not that it would've helped much probably, all the streets look almost exactly the same.

[ She blinks once at his name, but doesn't make any other comment on it ]

I was lucky to find someone willing to share theirs. He's a rather good draftsman, but you do have to watch the house numbers carefully.

[ She walks over to show you the detail on the map ]

[Hiccup leans to check out the map. It's a pretty awesome map.]

Wow, that's awesome. I'd say I wished I had one of those when I first got here, but I'm not sure it would've helped all that much.

[ She nods, ] I think I'll ask him if he would be willing to make the maps available with the pamphlet, the combination have been very useful to me. I've been noting what landmarks there are, but you're right, there aren't many.

[ She frowns, looking down the street. ]

Makes me want to put a tacky statue or fountain in the front yard, just to be different.

Dunno what the drones would do about that, but it might be interesting to give it a shot.

[ She's looking up and down the street, with a mischievous smile ]

Huge concrete monkey, or maybe a bad Picasso pastiche... hmm. You know, it wouldn't have to be tacky, after all....

[ Ilsa turns back to Hiccup. ]
