003 - Tinkering - Action at 729 Anderson Lane

[It's a nice day, and Hiccup's in the garage with the door open. He's working on a pretty strange looking device, which turns out to be the tail replacement harness for Toothless. It's got two fins instead of just the one he had to make back home, so it's turning out to be a mite trickier than he's used to.

But he's doing pretty well. He might actually be finished with the thing soon. Or, you know. Finished enough for preliminary testing.

Any and all walk-ups are welcome. Hiccup will be so excited to tell everyone what he's doing.]

It's not, really, but most of the time that's what he looks like, so it's descriptive I guess.

Maybe. I don't really know why he can do it, actually. None of the other kinds of dragons can.

Oh yeah, tons. Toothless is a Night Fury, but there's Terrible Terrors, Deadly Nadders, Hideous Zipplebacks, Monstrous Nightmares... loads more.

Vikings. And you know, you gotta keep in mind that we were fighting dragons for a really long time before... well. Before me.

Oh? You won the war or something?

Uh... not really? Sort of, I guess. Well. No, not at all. I uh... I met Toothless and we became friends and sort of helped the others to see that dragons weren't so bad after all. Also there was this giant green dragon that was making all the others bring it food, so we killed it and now the dragons are nice.

Yeah, I guess it is a yes. Since killing that one big dragon pretty much ended it, yeah.
